Performances - Andover School of Ballet
Every Spring, we proudly present a dance recital where our students can showcase their accomplishments. The Grande Finale Performance takes place at a local auditorium, while our Kinderdance classes will hold an in-studio performance on a Spring date to be announced. Please note that Rhythm & Movement, & Adult/Teen Ballet classes do not participate in this performance.
While participation in The Grande Finale Performance is not mandatory, we require notification of your intentions by December 1st for students in classes purchasing costumes, or by Jan 5th for all ballet classes. This ensures that instructors can appropriately choreograph for each class. Regrets only should be submitted in writing; otherwise, we will assume you plan to perform.
All Kinderdance, Primary Dance 1, 2, 3, and ballet students (excluding the Advanced Pointe Class) will wear their class uniform as a costume for the dance recital, complemented by a special performance headpiece for girls or a belt for boys. The charge for the recital headpiece or belt will be included in the February tuition invoices.
Students in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Advanced Pointe, and Parent/Child Recital Dance are required to purchase ready-made costumes. A costume deposit of $85 per costume is due by November 10. After costumes are ordered on December 20, please note that there are no refunds or cancellations. We aim to remain within the posted budget, though prices may vary each year. Any costume balances exceeding the deposit amount must be settled by February 10.
Mark your calendars for the 2027 PERFORMANCE DATES for THE GRANDE FINALE: Dress Rehearsal will occur on Saturday, May 22, and the Performance will be on Sunday, May 23. It is essential for all performing students to attend the Dress Rehearsal and their assigned performance.
